Expansion Potential:
Always have the ability to acquire other stores in the surrounding towns if desired. With the 2 locations and the amount I purchase, I enjoy a better discount from my distributors than others. Adding additional stores would only help in this respect. Have other possible locations I would move into which I would be happy to share w/new owner.
Competition / Market:
Currently little competition except for the large grocery stores which I try not to compete against. We tend to carry items they are unable to or are more unique.
Reasons for selling:
Time to rest and take it a bit easy. Have run this business for 18 years, 2 others for 12 yrs so would to take some time off and get a few things done I have put off for too long. Hate to say retire because I most likely won't stop working, just a little less.
