Leadership

Peter Gibson is a founding partner and senior broker. His initial business experience came rising up the ranks in a large chemical engineering plant that set him on the path. After 6 years in the real estate sector in Texas he moved to New York to seek business opportunities and saw a gap in the market. Upon meeting with Dr. Timothy Windsor (Partner) who was also searching for business opportunities they decided to assist each other. An expert in financial statement analysis and business valuating were the key ingredients to the initial success for GBB and sets the benchmark for all our staff to aspire to. He has over 19 years of experience facilitating mergers, acquisitions, sales, and other business transfers with transaction values ranging from $30,000 to $65,000,000. Peter has successfully participated in or managed the sale of over 300 privately held companies in both the Main-Street and Middle-Market arenas, representing both buyers and sellers. He has represented clients in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific Region.

Dr. Timothy Windsor is a founding partner of GBB and heads our Equity Division. Dr. Windsor has 36 years of experience in equity markets, originally working as a portfolio manager in London early in his career before moving to the United States 16 years ago. He met with Peter Gibson in New York where they were both looking for business opportunities and saw a gap in the marketplace for a business to be multi-faceted and subsequently formed GBB. His attention to detail and global equity trading contacts formed the nucleus of GBB ever expanding client base. Dr. Windsor’s expertise and negotiating strategies produce well-timed and well-informed transfer of global equity. He oversees all equity transactions within GBB, providing the basis for negotiations between GBB and the intermediary/facilitator who deals directly with the seller. Dr. Windsor is also a specialist in Bank Asset Liquidation Services.

Ken Gorman is GBB most senior broker and negotiator. After a successful manufacturing career in Dallas, Ken came to New York searching for business opportunities and to study the local marketplace, this is when he met both Peter Gibson and Dr. Windsor, who were in the process of incorporating GBB. Ken helped structure the process of how GBB brings buyers and sellers together and helped form many of our intermediary ties. Ken has been in top-level management in the fields of insurance, publishing, and real estate development, both inside and outside of the United States. Ken has a background involving business development and start-up operations with a specialty in marketing and sales. The skills he gained throughout his extensive career were gained in a hands-on manner, enabling him to provide insight into each transaction that would be missed by most professionals who had not been involved as an owner, seller or transferee. Ken has been with GBB from the very beginning and at the forefront of the larger local transactions that have taken place, forging major buyer contacts in many industries that always enable us to find genuine interest after valuation.
